Zombie Gangsters Get Mad Props
It's official, all of the Zombies have been shot!
Stormfront Films is pleased to announce the completion of principal photography on “MUTANT VAMPIRE ZOMBIES FROM THE ’HOOD!” featuring C. Thomas Howell (“HIDALGO”, the original thriller “THE HITCHER”, and “THE OUTSIDERS”) in the lead role of Detective David Lang. The cast also included GregAlan Williams (of “BAYWATCH” fame), Tyshawn Bryant, Johanna Watts, Robert Wu and Rachel Montez Collins.
Set in the gang-ruled underbelly of L.A.’s streets, “MUTANT VAMPIRE ZOMBIES FROM THE ’HOOD!” follows a group of inner-city survivors who fight to flee a city now infested with blood-sucking zombies after a solar flare of supernatural proportions.
Thunder Levin directed and George Saunders produced a script they wrote jointly. Levin and Saunders wrote the science fiction epic “2176” which is being produced by Ron Shusett (“ALIEN”, “TOTAL RECALL”, “MINORITY REPORT”) and Daniel Alter (“HITMAN”, “ISIS”, “HACK/SLASH”).
The soundtrack will be performed by San Francisco breakout rapper, Vital. Emmy award-winning American Makeup & Effects, whose many credits include “PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST” as well as various films and episodes of the Star Trek franchise, created the zombie makeup and effects.
The film was shot on location in Los Angeles in February and is slated for a Halloween 2007 release.
